About Katherine

Katherine's work has many inspirations; remembering her longing to be a princess as a child, creating costumes and headpieces that let her live the fantasy, and pouring over books of medieval dress and decoration as her interest in costume continued.

Raised by a textile artist, Katherine had a childhood world of fabric, jewels, creativity and fantasy.  She would spend her days dreaming of princesses and creating the costumes that they would wear.

This dream did not fade; as a collector of vintage costume, Katherine has always had an eye for the unique and unusual.   After years of designing her own clothing and jewelry Katherine became a tailor for a large producer of designer wedding gowns and worked there for a number of years. While sewing wedding dresses she would mentally create bridal headpieces which would accent the particular dress that she was working on.

Katherine decided to create her own line of distinctly medieval bridal headpieces. She wanted to create something that was not like other headpieces that are available today; something beautiful and stylish, yet soft and easy to wear.

Ranging from casual to elegant her headpieces are warm, rich, and evocative and can be the final touch to turn you into the princess of your dreams.
